I reported my bullying concerns four weeks ago to my manager and/or LHD’s HR department and nobody has contacted me
- Have you followed up your complaint with your HR department?
- Have you been provided with the reasons for the delay?
- Alternatively, you can raise your concerns with the next line manager.
I raised an issue with my manager and now I feel my manager is bullying me. My manager referred me to the EAP and that was it. What else can I do?
- You can raise your concerns with the next level of management, i.e. your manager's manager.
- Alternatively, you can raise your concerns with your HR department.
I work nightshifts so I can't contact HR; they are not available after hours. I've called them and left a message but no one has returned my call. What else can I do?
- Another option is to find their email address and email them.
- You can escalate to a more senior HR person.
I put in a bullying complaint and management will not accept this unless it is in writing. Things just take too long to be resolved; I don't know what to do?
- Bullying complaints should be made according to your LHD complaints procedures.
- Whilst it is desirable that a verbal complaint be followed up in writing, responding to the complaint should not be dependent on its receipt in writing, please refer to your LHD procedures.
I am a witness to a bullying, I don't feel comfortable raising this with management as my name has been mentioned, I feel as though all management are on the same side. What else can I do?
- You have a right to raise a complaint, it is up to you if you wish to make a complaint. You may want to report this if there is a significant workplace risk.
- You can also advise/remind the recipient of bullying that workplace bullying is unacceptable.
